I want to commend you on your well-written article in the January 26 issue, “Up In Smoke.”
I work at Laing House, a centre for youth living with serious mental illnesses in Halifax, and I clipped your article and left it in our common room. Over the past two weeks I have seen several of the youth we work with read that article, particularly the smokers. Yesterday one of them read it and was headed to an auricular acupuncture session within five minutes of finishing it. He thanked me for clipping the article. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that your article had a positive impact on some young people in your community.
