Give The Coast a break.
Although I COMPLETELY respect Claire Gallant’s right to be offended last week by the thought of turducken and meat consumption, I don’t feel that she had the right to be offended that The Coast published a story about the turducken.
I think she owe’s The Coast an apology by suggesting that they not print stories that promote a meat-eating practice that, albeit extremely common, offends her. That would be against the philosophy of a free press.
May I suggest that she follows Lisa Diane’s impressive lead and use the freedom of the press to promote her cause with facts instead of being upset when reading about things that offend her.
Knowledge is power, whining is annoying.
