- Be cool when approaching John and co.
I love Hallmark movies. Not because there are about five predictable heartwarming plotlines, but because they always manage to score interesting actors, who come with sightings, spottings, rumours and stories. Like Alicia Silverstone‘s tearjerking Candles on Bay Street, and her appearance on CKDU’s Let Get Baked, and various Gus’ Pub shows. Let’s not talk about Rob Lowe‘s Beach Girls—while technically not a Hallmark Presents, it did give me an opportunity to stalk him through Freak Lunchbox. Guy’s gotta sweet tooth.
This tear-wringer, November Christmas (CBC, airing November), is about a small Rhode Island (MOVs take place in Rhode Island, Maine or New England) community that helps create a holiday for a young ill girl. Why does someone always have to die???? Stars Sarah Paulson (totally wasted on Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip), with lovely Karen Allen (Raiders of the Lost Ark hotness), John Corbett (last spotted in Abu Dhabi) and classic cowboy Sam Elliott.
So far sightings include Corbett and his partner Bo Derek (!) at Irleland 32. Slainte. And Allen taking in some local yoga. if you have any more sightings, let us know. Just be cool about it. Don’t be like the dude who yelled in Gary Dourdan‘s face at the jazz fest. We don’t want them to think we’re a bunch of star-struck, celeb-hungry dorks. Oh wait…

I saw the beautiful Sam Elliott at Cabin Coffee yesterday. It was his voice that caught my attention first.
Sam was in at T.A.N. Cafe in Wolfville this morning.
I have so much respect for JOHN CORBETT even though producers were on him he greeted his fans in Wolfville. He gave hugs, a hole lot of smiles, pictures and autographs if you wanted them! Really down to earth with what seems a heart of gold! When any dogs were to go by him he stoped to each one with a big pat and a hello buddy! So cool!!!!
It was beautifull tonight in Wolfville Nova Scotia watching them film NOVEMBER CHRISTMAS by Hallmark. It airs November 28 on cbs and stars Sam Elliott(Jess Sanford), Karen Allen(Claire Sanford), John Corbett (Tom Marks), Sara Paulson (Beth Marks), Emily Alyn Lind (Vanessa Marks), Max Charles (Gordon Marks)
It was really great seeing all the cast and crew around Wolfville and to see our little town get turned, briefly, into a Christmas wonderland. The lights were fabulous, the acters and crew all friendly and happy to bring our local business their attentions. Wish they could stay and enjoy Wolfville a little longer but they must be eager to get their film made. Good luck and looking forward to the final product.
I spotted Sam Elliott today as I walked near Pizza Corner. I didn’t even know he was around this area, but I thought “That guy really looks a lot like Sam Elliott, but it can’t he him…not here in Halifax”. It wasn’t until I looked at the Coast that I realized it was him….
I LOVE SAM ELLIOTT EVERY TIME I HEAR HIS VOICE MY HEART MELTS.
