her + gilbert grape = best couple It is my natural inclination to ruthlessly mock actors and actresses who also “make music” (Minnie Driver? Billy Bob Thorton? Instant hilarity!) but for some reason I can’t do it with Juliette Lewis. It might have something to do with the fact that some of her songs with her rock band, the Licks, are kind of good.
