Christina Martin Can Too

After nearly a decade, Christina Martin is ready to break. Her third album, I Can Too, is set for release for September 7, and Martin is preparing for a national tour with Cuff the Duke on some dates (lap steel player Dale Murray co-produced I Can Too with Martin and is also Martin’s fiancee. Aww.) The album features Blue Rodeo’s Greg Keelor and Cuff frontman Wayne Petti. She’ll be playing the Seahorse on Friday, September 10 and the title song from the album is available for download if you sign up for Martin’s mailing list at www.christinamartin.net.

Kev Corbett gives a sneak peek at his new album

Don’t drop it! Kev Corbett’s new album, Son of a Rudderless Boat, was released informally at the Lunenburg Folk Fest on August 6, but if you weren’t one of the 1000 people present, you may be chomping at the bit to get your copy.
