Halifax Live Comedy Club Presents: An Evening with Scott Belford

Canadian comedian Scott Belford brings his energetic and storytelling-driven stand-up to Halifax for one night only. Known across Canada for his “Comedy Empire” tour, Belford’s clever mix of personal anecdotes and quick wit has made him a festival favourite. The show is part of the Halifax Live Comedy Club’s headliner series, hosted upstairs at Hopyard — a cozy, casual venue perfect for a night of laughs. Get there early for drinks and seating.

The boardwalk transforms into an open-air stage as world-class street performers take over the waterfront for a long weekend of magic, acrobatics, music and comedy. With performers from around the globe, each corner brings something new — from fire jugglers to breakdancers. The vibe is family-friendly, donation-based and spontaneous. Come for a walk and stay for a show (or five).

Natal Day Weekend Celebrations

This long weekend is all about community, with free events happening throughout Halifax and Dartmouth. Saturday night’s fireworks over the harbour are a must-see, and live music stages and family zones run all weekend. Monday’s big parade (Aug. 5) officially caps off the fun, but the party starts Friday. A weekend of local culture, connection and celebration.
