This is the testimony of Iris Nicolas, a native woman from New Brunswick who attended the Shubanacadie Indian Residential School. I came in after she began her testimony, but what I’ve recorded here is very moving. I also didn’t have time to get my proper recorder operating— I apologize the quality isn’t great on this.
