For 10 years Halifax Car Audio (6021 Young Street, 455-4510) has been bringing high end quality sound systems to Halifax vehicles. “We only do a high end product,” says owner Fadil Shabiu. “Any car, any model.” If you take a gander at their website (halifaxcaraudio.com) you’ll see that they feature photos of a few high performance machines---they work on BMWs, Audis and Porsches---and offer everything from Kenwood subwoofers to shiny rims. But it’s not all about turning your Honda into a mobile bass speaker. “Everybody has a different request,” says Shabiu. “It’s more about the technology, being to play everything.” That means bringing your iPod, iPhone, or Blackberry into the car and wirelessly being able to control playlists through the stereo without even having to touch the mobile device.
