The recently opened Ikebana Shop (6417 Quinpool Road, 407-0487) is offering a unique way to show a loved one they are the proverbial cat’s pyjamas: An artfully arranged flower plate, a mix of fresh red roses and carnations on a charcoal black matte square plate (which is also yours to keep). But this is one of those first-come-first-serve opportunities—with orders accepted until February 6—and numbers are limited, but even if they’re out of this particular creation there are plenty of others that will make a certain someone’s eyes light up.
