Empire Theatre Ticket Prices Go Up and Down

With Iron Man 2 opening wide last week, the summer blockbuster season has begun in local cinemas and across North America. In the next few weeks we can expect a deluge of marketing to prep us all for that new take on Robin Hood, a second Sex & The City movie and more Shrek than you can shake a big green ogre at. You might also notice having to pay a little extra to get into these movies if you want to see them Friday, Saturday or Sunday night. Weekend evening prices for general admission at Park Lane, The Oxford and Bayers Lake is now $11.50, while regular prices for other times of the week, or weekend daytime, is $9.99 per screening. The good news is Empire Theatres have brought back Tuesday discounts: For $5.99, you can get in to see any screening (non-Imax or 3D, though there are discounts for those screens, too) on Tuesdays.
