We’ve seen the signs on the wall, and the deals in the DVD bins. Blockbuster Video is closing its central Halifax locations, including the peninsular stores at 1119 Queen Street and 6024 Quinpool Road and also ones on Herring Cove Road and Wyse Road in Dartmouth.(For now, the other remaining stores in the HRM will remain open.) As a result, starting today until the stores close in mid-June, they’re selling off their stock. Expect 30 percent off and more on a lot of DVDs. Watch my elbows in the crowd.
