Take a look at The Men Who Stare at Goats

Trust George Clooney's absurdly funny comedy.

Goats tells the story of the US military-sanctioned new-age-inspired New Earth Warriors. Led by Bill Django (Jeff Bridges in full aged-hippie mode), the film follows their idealistic origins as a sun-salutating, psychic army, to their eventual disintegration and disgrace at the hands of Kevin Spacey's clairvoyant Judas. (There is, apparently, one in every group.) George Clooney plays Django's most inspired yet disillusioned protege, Lyn Cassady, in a performance that conveys goofy new-age vitality with bracing melancholy, setting the tone for the movie. Goats is absurdly funny and trusts its audience to discern both its comedy and implications. A story about an army that fights its enemy with yoga and the paranormal is both hilarious and spooky.

The Men Who Stare at Goats is not showing in any theaters in the area.
