If you were one of the lucky people at the Rebecca Cohn at last night’s Gord Downie concert then you know how powerful it was. The Tragically Hip frontperson performed a special concert in Halifax of his album Secret Path, a 10-song album based on the story of Chanie Wenjack, a 12-year-old Indigenous child who died of exposure and starvation while fleeing a residential school. The concert and album are benefitting the Gord Downie Secret Path Fund for Truth and Reconciliation, dedicated to finding missing Indigenous children.
