Yes! This Thursday, Film Nova Scotia is hosting a free screening of the feature film Outlander, 6:30pm at the Oxford Theatre. The space-viking epic, which stars James Caviezel and a ton of locals in viking garb, never received a Nova Scotian theatrical release (surprise, surprise), so now’s your chance to play a bearded, bloodied Haligonian version of Where’s Waldo and spot your friends. See if you can find Dustin Harvey.

Writer/director Howard McCain, executive producer and writer Dirk Blackman and producer Don Carmody will also be there to answer questions about swords, blood spray, lightning strikes and such.

  1. How on earth are you going to fit interested crew, extras and fantasy nuts into one showing at the Oxford? Everyone in HRM and beyond was involved in the making of this movie.
