This guy who had to jump out of his car before the tank squashed it isn't just fast, he's probably also pretty darn furious.

Possibly the most consistent American fantasy film franchise comes roaring back into theatres with Fast & Furious 6. Getting a little too old for this shit, F&F6 finds Vin Diesel's Dominic Toretto bringing his crew of superhumanly gifted car thieves out of retirement to rescue ex-girlfriend and previously dead Michelle Rodriguez from a dangerous, international car terrorist. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, MMA fighter Gina Carano and Ludacris also star, quite gloriously. Half a dozen entries in, 6 jury-rigs itself together from the standard F&F elements: ludicrously fancy cars, ridiculous one-liners and fast races usually ending in explosions. It's to repeat director Justin Lin's credit that those insanely stupid pieces work so marvelously in tandem. A finale featuring six different fights taking place across four vehicles is wondrous on purely a mechanical level. Fast & Furious 6 is a custom build out of stock parts, but it handles itself well on the curves.
