
The mighty Halifax Pop Explosion, turns 20 this year, and celebrates with the best of the old and the new. Reuniting classic local acts like The Super Friendz, Cool Blue Halo, Strate Jakets and Hip Club Groove (I mean REALLY. This will be great).
And bringing in big names like of Montreal, Black Lips, Atlas Sound, Wintersleep, Career Suicide, Deer Tick, Adventure Club, Elliott BROOD, El-P, Zola Jesus, Born Ruffians, Dan Mangan (with Symphony Nova Scotia), Eugene Mirman, King Tuff, Purity Ring, Clinic, The Pack A.D., The White Buffalo, Bane, Cold Specks, The Blind Shake, The Spring Standards, Humans, Dance Laury Dance, Code Orange Kids, Big John Bates, dVbbs, and Mike O’Neill.
You can fill your boots this October 16-20, so start dreaming now of fall sweaters and cozy earplugs.
Festival wristbands and passes will go on sale at noon on July 6. Quantities are limited. Early bird prices (until July 13 or until sold out) are as follows:
Wristbands: $50 early bird/$65 regular
Priority passes: $100 early bird/$150 regular
VIP passes: $225 early bird/$275 regular
