Humani-T Cafe (5755 Young Street, 454-9999) is opening a new location at the Trillium, the condo skyscraper at 1445 South Park Street.
“We’re aiming for springtime,” says Kiyan Sobhani, gelato chef at the cafe. “we don’t have a set date as there’s a lot of design work to be done.”
Though the current Human-T Cafe in the north end shares space with Super Natural Health Products, the new place won’t carry supplements and will be instead devoted to being a teahouse, coffee shop and dessert destination, with 60 varieties of tea available. “It’ll be a traditional Persian tea house setting,” says Sobhani.

Cheesecake Co. is also planning to open a location at the condo building:
