Imagine my surprise as I’m browsing Gawker at work (um that’s allowed because I need to know about pop culture for my job and I’ve filed everything for this week and you’re not my mom OK?) and I see that a former (?) pick up artist named Tynan bought an island off the coast of Nova Scotia for under 100k. Apparently Tynan has abandoned the picking up lifestyle and is now interested in minimalist living. That still doesn’t change the fact that he once wrote a book called Make Her Chase You.
Quite a few of the cheapest islands on the very intriguing site Privateislands.com are from Nova Scotia or New Brunswick so let’s all please hope and pray that other PUAs don’t get the same idea and we’re all inundated with them suddenly. Because if that happens I am totally buying one of these Brazilian islands and GingTFO of here.

“… he once wrote a book called Make Her Chase You.” How? By stealing her purse?
“That still doesn’t change the fact that he once wrote a book called Make Her Chase You.”
Why does writing a book about making yourself more attractive to women count as a black mark on his record? Why does every attempt at increasing one’s “notch count” have to be part of a big bad “RAPE CULTURE.”
I hate to burst your moralistic bubble, but there are guys out there who honestly just want more women in their life, who aren’t rapists, or in any way oppressing women. It’s hard to tell, though, with the way ignorant douchebags like you write, with your snide, baseless, categorical statements for the sake of winning political correctness brownie points.
My god, why don’t we all own islands? Oh right, this: http://www.thecoast.ca/RealityBites/archiv…
This article makes a pretty dumb comparison to trying to make women want you to being part of a rape chant.
Ryan, I have two questions:
1) How many fedoras do you own?
2) How many alternate accounts on Reddit do you control?
Thanks.
“Tynan, also known as Herbal, is one of the most well known pickup artists in the world, made famous by the New York Times Bestseller, The Game. Taught by the greatest pickup artists in the world, including Mystery from The Pick Up Artist on VH1, Tynan has developed his own style…”
Hey Stephanie,
Is the coast your personal tumblr page?
If so, what are your thoughts on who’ll win Big Brother tonight? Have you heard the new Katy Perry/Juicy J single?
Hey Jacob, I literally asked that exact same question. The coast “journalists” can’t handle criticism so they just delete comments. This is an incredibly stupid article, making a story out of nothing. She should just stick to her watching TMZ and stop sharing it with the rest of us.
It appears she also rewrote her article. What a hack.
Yah, that initial posting was a bit confusing. I wanted to comment on it but had no idea what it was about, really. I’m still a little unclear. I’ll just leave it alone and let it scroll away.
Hasn’t been rewritten. What do you think changed? As far as I know no comments have been deleted either. Comment away, that’s what it’s here for.
Really? Cool. I even googled this clown and still didn’t make any sense of this ‘story’. Maybe after a fresh read it meant more sense so it seemed like it was fixed up. Dunno. Anyway, file this one under “What the Fuck?”

This was definitely rewritten.
Also: who cares? Good for him.
Late to the party, I know, but I don’t think you need to worry.
Pickup artists gravitate towards young pretty college-aged women. Not married mothers with overbites in their forties. But nice attempt at a self-plug.
