If you want to get out on the waves, you can now receive some real instruction from the people who know at the DaCane Surf Shop (5239 Blowers Street, 431-7873). Here’s the deal: The “Learn to Surf Clinic” is held every Tuesday evening through the summer and runs an hour and a half. For just $19.99 (per person/per lesson) you get all the rental equipment you need as well as in-water instruction. For an additional $10 you get a ride to and from the beach.
