Well if the predictions of 50% electronic voting come true then I think that’s something to be happy about! Granted, 45% turnout isn’t spectacular, but it is an improvement from 38%.
Rather disappointind in my view. We have heard for years how people, especially students, said they would vote if they could do it by computer or phone, however, it doesn’t look this way. Maybe, just maybe some of those have decided to vote the old fashioned way. I guess we’ll know on Sunday for sure. If you haven’t voted, then do so. It is not only your right but your duty.
thats actually a solid number considering its only for a city election
And where is the lowest turnout for electronic voting? The areas where the universities are. So much for the excuse if they have electronic voting then we will vote. Now what is their excuse?
Students who are not residents of HRM are not eligible to vote.
