Melita Scott writes to say she has opened a coffee shop in Dartmouth on Earth Day. Cafe Brea (530 Portland Street, 789-1354) is in the new commercial strip that sits across from what used to be Penhorn Mall.

  1. Awesome little place. Now I don’t have to walk all the way downtown for a good cup of coffee, and they sell Schoolhouse gluten-free Gourmet products. Also they carry soy and almond milk:).

  2. JT rowlings…how does one milk an almond ?
    I wonder how many of the little things you’ve got to have in the barn to get a litre of ‘milk’ ?
