Time to set the ’90s free. It’s unfair to expect Kids in the Hall to deliver another Cabbage Head, but the first episode of their six-part series promises that the classic hallmarks are still intact: dotty ladies, dumb cops and visual gags, especially Mark McKinney’s potbellied grim reaper. KITH’s strength has always been spot-on social satire, and here

there’s Olympic fever and criminals getting high on anti-bacterial gel. Fun stuff for old fans.
