
Continuing with our band birthday theme in Scene and Heard, here’s another reason to put on a colourful paper hat. Thursday, March 15 is Scribbler‘s seventh birthday and five years since the release of their second album Backitius. To celebrate both these events, the group will be making its entire discography free for download at scribblerband.bandcamp.com.
Change is in the wind for the prolific psych-pop band—in June guitarist/vocalist Alex Currie is moving out of Halifax for the summer, leaving Scribbler to reshuffle. In the meantime, they are working on a four-track EP with James O’Toole and Charles Austin at Echo Chamber.
