The Good Food Emporium (2179 Gottingen, 422-3150), so essential to the lunchtime diets of many of us Coast staffers, is now offering a whole new dinner menu, available from 5-9pm, Monday to Friday. Calling it “a local take on far away food,” dinner is prepared by multitalented chef Virgil Muir, who you may know from his work as a massage therapist and as part of longtime Halifax band Heavy Meadows. Expect to find Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese and Caribbean specialties on the menu.
