“I’m rubber and you’re glue…”

Hair-pulling, clothes-stealing, parent-persuading, one-upping and general bickering. If you have a brother, a sister, or some other demon you consider to be your sibling you’ve likely encountered some of these annoyances. Or you’ve been ratted out. Or, you’ve ratted out your seemingly sweet sibling. On Monday our Blowhard friends, curators of tales worth being told, present an evening of ranting, er, storytelling, that’ll have Marty Burt, Veronica Simmonds, Nate Crawford and Maggie Rahr sharing their sibling rivalries with you. Listen to stories about the perfect sibling, the black sheep, one-way rivalries and life in a sibling dictatorship and laugh, let go and reminisce as you look back on your own once-strained relationships. Then, go home and call your sister and tell her you love her.

Monday November 7, FRED. beauty food art, 2606 Agricola Street, 7-9pm, $5
