If you were walking down Spring Garden today enjoying the sun, you probably noticed a graffiti artist working in the front window of D2 today. Dazzled by the day’s warmth and curiosity, I climbed into the small fishbowl of a window to see what was going on. Turns out this is artist/filmmaker Christian Toth, AKA Sectr, back for a quick visit before jetting off on Wednesday with a one-way ticket to South America.
Toth, who grew up in Halifax and in Manhattan, just returned after painting his way through Europe. He was in Lisbon, Barcelona and Berlin, people. So kids, let that be a lesson to you: don’t let mom tell you that graffiti leads directly to the devil. If you’re good and enterprising, people will want your skills.

The key words being “good” and “enterprising”. If these clowns that keep tagging anything/everything ever get caught, then I say that they should have their place of residence vandalized every day just to show them how much of a nuisance it is to all their victims.
