Metal movie stars, 3 Inches of Blood.

One can only imagine the antics that go on behind the scenes of a 3 Inches of Blood/Cancer Bats Canadian tour. But thanks to filmmaker Tom MacLeod, you can give those imaginations a little rest. He’s joined his friends, 3 Inches of Blood, on the road, capturing all the little moments along the way. “The fans can actually see what we do with our lives, see the band as people and how we interact with each other,” says the band’s longtime guitarist Shane Clark. And the Vancouver-based metal band has another trick up its sleeve. They’ve just released a 7″ on vinyl and online (which Clark says is on the “aggressive side”) to tide you, and themselves, over until they trade the road for the studio this summer. If you’re looking to get Bloodied up, you’ve got two chances to do so in Halifax.
