It’s a highly held belief that concerts for a good cause are 75% more enjoyable than regular concerts. This January 30, 6pm at the Halifax Forum, the Crush Cancer Benefit Concert for Stephen Green hopes to confirm this theory with the help of hosts Megan Edwards (Z103.5) and Tanar Repchull, DJ IV, JoFo, Faded Blue, Aquestrya, Soul Unity, Chad Hatcher, Rick Collins and Bernie Robichaud (“Cyrus” from Trailer Park Boys). Stephen Green is twenty two years old, and recently diagnosed with Choriocarcinoma cancer of the blood, a rare cancer that affects Green’s brain, lungs, kidneys, pancreas and lymphnodes. Haul out that wallet, put on that cocktail dress and give the dude a hand. Tickets are $20 general admission, $15 for students with ID and are available in advance at Key Lime Pie Salon on Quinpool Road, by calling Tara at 802-4505 and at the door the night of the event.
