T.O.S. is the sophomore effort from 50 Cent’s entourage G-Unit, and while they’ve influenced the next wave of lil’ gangsters, their focus has been more on their beefs and other endeavours than releasing an album worthy of their status. On their debut album Beg For Mercy, the beats were massive and unrelenting, and the lyrics were aggressive and angry. If only the same thing could be said for T.O.S.It appears as if the sophomore jinx has struck: The beats are thin and sinewy, while the flow seems forced and unfocused. If 50 Cent is the marquee name, why has his flow turned into mixed-down mush?
