Sometimes you just gotta wonder if these guys look in the mirror in the morning. I mean, what else are Canadian troops doing in Afghanistan if not trying to exert some say or control on a country outside our borders?
OTTAWA (AFP) – Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper on Thursday denounced Russia for its military action in Georgia, saying Moscow was trying to control nations outside its borders and showing a “Soviet” mentality.
“I must tell you that I am deeply troubled by a notion I see developing in Russia and that is a notion that Russia somehow has a say or some control over countries outside of its borders,” Harper told reporters.

Did the Georgian government extend an invitation to the Russians in the same manner as the Afghand sought outside help. World of difference Tim. You must be too young to remember Hungary and/or Czechoslovakia. The only invitation I here is for the Russiand to return to their country. I guess when the Afghans ask us to leave we will depart. A stupid comment Tim and remember The Coast is not Pravda.
