I woke up early this morning for the 7am Olympics but I forgot that the broadcasting world is all about the Eastern Time. It’s not on until 8am here. An hour of sleep I’ll never get back. Right now it’s just a bunch of CBC blah-blah-blah. NBC? No signal. That doesn’t bode well considering The New York Times reported that seven NBC networks are airing 1,400 hours of reporting and streaming 2,200 hours of real-time events over 25 sports on NBCOlympics.com. Which you can’t watch here in Canada so don’t bother. Be all CanCon and stick to cbc.ca/olympics.

Andy is here with coffee. What I want to know is where is copychief Neal who was supposed to be here by now? Apparently sleep is more important to N. than the Coast Olympic dream.
