Tammachat returns to the south end for a textile show

Fair trade social enterprise organization working with rural weavers in Thailand and Laos holds gift show.

Mahone Bay-based textile company Tammachat, a fair trade social enterprise organization that works with rural weavers in Thailand and Laos, is having another show of its products this weekend. Consider it a fair trade holiday gift show of eco-fashions for you and your home, taking place at the Universalist Unitarian Church (5500 Inglis Street) on Saturday, November 14, from 10am to 4pm, in the heart of the south end. As an added incentive to check out Tammachat's wares, they are now partnered with literacy program Big Brother Mouse, which will provide books to children in Laos for every textile product sold.
