Smiles & Beauty Skin Care opens in Historic Properties

Local teeth whitening and soap store near the waterfront

A new business has opened in the Historic Properties. Smiles & Beauty Skin Care (1869 Upper Water Street, 404-4344) is run by Kristin O'Leary, who originally purchased a Quik Smiles Inc. franchise with her husband earlier this year but has since rebranded and gone indie. "We still offer safe, comfortable, and affordable professional teeth whitening, as well we have added Olivier Soaps to our product line up," explains O'Leary.

Olivier Soaps is a 100 percent natural line of skin care and bath/body products, containing no harmful chemicals or fragrances, handmade in New Brunswick.

The store's grand opening is September 24, with a planned launch party featuring owner and founder of Olivier Soaps, Pierre Pelletier, who will speak. You may remember Pelletier from his appearance on CBC TV's Dragon's Den.
