Homemade wine at reception venue?

Details: I'm having trouble finding venues that will allow us to bring in our own liquor, specifically homemade wines. We're both adamant that we be allowed to bring in our own wines and other liquor, as the expense of venue-provided stuff is stupid, and there's a sentimental attachment to having wine from our parents (including a tasting/mixing ceremony we want to do). —A Yarmouthian and an Islander —Nicole
