2. Susies Lake

Tucked behind Bayers Lake is a piece of paradise. The Susies Lake hiking trail leads to a spectacular look off which offers an unobstructed view of the setting sun. Just be sure to keep your bearings with a map, and bring a flashlight for the hike back. Off Chain Lake Drive, behind Kent

3. The High Head

Located in Prospect, this hiking trail faces out over a dozen small islands, a coastline made up of granite outcrops, and out to the ocean as far as the eye can see. Sit on the bench located at the beginning of the trail and watch as the sun dips below the horizon. Indian Point Road, off Prospect Bay Road

4. Polly's Cove

Not nearly as popular with tourists, Peggy's sister Polly not only offers a unique vantage point of the iconic lighthouse, but is a peaceful spot to watch the sun dip. Lighthouse Route/Prospect Road, two kilometres from Peggys Cove
