Zuppa's 20th Anniversary Birthday Bash: Featuring Pop-Up Love Party

Zuppa celebrates two decades in theatre with this epic show and party that sees things come full circle, returning to the waterfront where the company began to dance the night away.
Before you hit the dance floor, though, is Zuppa's signature Pop-Up Love Party, "a re-imaginging of Plato’s Symposium in its quest to define eros with all its plagues and pleasures. The performers must outdo each other in a battle of ideas. They do this with the aid of nostalgia, aerobics, a kangaroo court, conspiracy theories and quiet philosophical contemplation... while reclaiming the meaning of the word symposium: drinking party," event organizers add. The cherry on top is actually a snack platter prepared for your gorging pleasure by Chef Dennis Johnston (formerly of Fid Resto).
