Wetland Policy, Vernal Pools and You: An Update and a Call For Help

The Nova Scotia Government approved a new wetland conservation policy in September of 2011 and began implementing it later that fall. John Brazner, the Wetland Program Coordinator for Nova Scotia Environment, will provide an update on the final policy and provide details on some new initiatives related to wetland conservation in Nova Scotia. One of the new initiatives he will focus on is the Vernal Pool Mapping and Monitoring Project. The Event will take place in the auditorium of the Nova Scotia Museum of Natural History.
