Jazz Lounge 2 picks up where the first set left off and is a great fusion of jazz and electronica. Two discs of unreleased and hard to find tracks, the set is a great introduction into a subgenre of jazz and/or elctronica. The manufacturers claim that this will appeal to jazz purists as well as fans of electronica, but it is entirely bogus. Jazz purists won’t find anything to cheer for, even if greats like McCoy Tyner get remixed. Purists will run, but this is a sound for the new generation of listeners.
