Trillion to one

Trap-duo Trillionaires put a ton of work into their sound, all you have to do is let loose.

"Trap music is the space where southern hip-hop & electronic dance music collide," say Halifax's new trap duo Trillionaires (Michael Molloy and Nick Hood). "In the past couple of years, producers combined the sounds of both genres, mixing the drums of the southern hip-hop with the synths and builds of dance music to create something new." Since last summer, Trillionaires have been releasing trap mixes that have the unstoppable energy of a bankrolled shopping spree. Just go ham with the cash, doggies.

Two thousand thirteen is the first HPX for Trillionaires, who have an incredible work ethic for new artists---it can take hours to create and establish concepts for songs. "A lot of time is spent on sound design, making the patches [instruments] we plan on using in the track. We always build the heaviest parts first. Our bag of tricks has grown to the point of being overloaded in the past year, and our favourite place in the city to let them loose is Reflections. And we've been in the studio working on some exclusive material for this show, so if you've got a fear of missing out---#fomo---you're going to want to be there."

  • Let’s invest in renewable energies instead
  • Depends how much cash I, personally, will receive
