    Perhaps Mr. Hatte has done other things to raise the ire of police and guards in Halifax- I don't know, but all I need to know is one thing: "GO BACK TO THE RESERVE"?!!! Why is this security guard still employed? Or at least not signed up in courses on how to know what is and is not appropriate to tell people in a job that requires constant interaction with the public. Wow.

    Just tried the food here last night, and was not in any way disappointed. I ordered the pork tenderloin served with delicious homemade cornbread, pulled pork shoulder in sasparilla root sauce, with a small side salad of fresh microgreens and sliced apples, fresh garden veggies (on this night it was baby asparagus and baby carrots), and homemade thinly sliced 'red' potato chips. It was AMAZING. The flavors worked incredibly well together... other dishes sounded really good too, I'm looking forward to a return visit soon. Prices are medium-range for the quality, service was very friendly and efficient. I hope locals drop in and discover this secret soon, because hotel restaurants aren't usually the places to go for delicious creative food...this one is!
