Owner Dennis Johnson, who is an avid cyclist himself, wants to give the cyclist community a chance to watch the stage for the day on the restaurant's 40 inch flat screen. And this year its going to be louder.
'This year we had to get a sound system because we have a normal home theatre system and we run it through that but everyone is always conversing and socializing. Cyclists don't get the opportunity to talk on the road, so its a chance to talk and they talk loudly. We'd increase the volume and they'd talk louder and talk over the sound system. It's a bigger sound system this year so i think they'll be surprised when they try to talk over it," says Johnson.
Sounds like it won't be just the sound that blows you away though.
"The menu [for the event] is a combination of local produce with French inspiration," says Johnson. For $28 there will be a three course menu of local Boston salad, grilled in-house sausage with lentils and a dessert of crispy pavlova with seasonal fruit. Vegetarian options are also available and when people make reservations if they have sensitivities, the chefs can offer something else.
The night starts at 6:30pm and the event is reservation only, so book now.
