We’ve noticed two changes in Tim Outhit over the past year. First, he gave up his job at NovaKnowledge. Or maybe NovaKnowledge doesn’t exist any more, it’s hard to tell---Outhit says he doesn’t know either. Regardless, the move is welcome, as he can devote himself to his council position full-time. (Now, the only councillor with a day job is Stephen Adams, a pharmaceutical rep.)
Perhaps giving up the second job has reduced the stress, but for whatever reason, Outhit has mellowed in his relations with the Save the Bedford Basin Reef people. What had been animosity is now something close to cordiality. Good.
Meanwhile, we sit uneasily on the beach, sipping a Mai Tai in the shadow of the beast.
