Nancie Theakston Phipps is a Bedford-based interior decorator with her own furniture line called Lux Redux. "I refurbish and update classic pieces, to create 'new,' one-of-a-kind furnishings. Besides bringing the furniture back to life (so to speak), this keeps a few trees alive too," she explains. "It's recycling, in the word's original sense." Lux Redux sold at Thornbloom in Spring Garden Place.
