The Corridor free screening 

Locally shot horror to show at The Oxford

Keep the evening of Wednesday, February 23 open, Halifax lovers of film. Film Nova Scotia and Empire Theatres will be hosting a free screening of The Corridor that night at The Oxford Theatre (6408 Quinpool Road).

The Corridor is produced by Craig Cameron and Mike Masters, directed by Evan Kelly and written by Josh MacDonald. It's about four guys who get together to welcome a fifth back into the fold, a guy who's been hospitalized for mental illness. Together they all go out to a snowbound cabin for a drunken weekend, where are still-delicate fifth dude starts to see things out in the forest. But it's not long before everyone starts to see things. Then events go very, very badly.

I visited the set and wrote about it here in the spring of 2010 and managed to catch the film at one of the screenings (there were many due to its popularity) at the AFF in September, which I wrote about here.
