Canada's first branchless bank may be headquartered on the west coast, but it has an environmental policy that would fit in anywhere. Put succinctly, the Citizen's Bank "supports those in Canada and abroad who believe in respect and fair treatment, environmental leadership, healthy lifestyles, ethical business practices, and peaceful communities." Ask about their green mortgages, their community initiatives (in Toronto and Vancouver, but maybe coming here with enough interest) and their 2010 plans to be the first carbon-neutral financial institution.
