The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms 30th Anniversary Celebration

A free screening of the film Constitute! followed by a panel discussion featuring prominent Canadian feminists discussing the objectives sought at the time of the Charter. Alexandra Dobrowolsky (author and SMU professor), Beverly Baines (law professor at Queen's University), Mary Eberts (Ariel Sallows chair in human rights at the University of Saskatchewan), Nancy Ruth (Canadian senator) and Penney Kome (journalist and author) will weigh in.
