The Best of Planet in Focus Environmental Film Festival at the Musuem of Natural History

Award-winning eco-doc fest comes to Halifax

Planet in Focus has teamed up with the Alliance of Natural History Museums to bring a cluster of award-winning eco-docs across the country. The tour, called The Best of Planet in Focus Environmental Film Festival, looks to highlight the current state of the Earth's environmental crises and hopefully spark some inspiration for change. The tour has already hit the road, and will be stopping into Halifax' Museum of Natural History (1747 Summer Street, 424-7353) later this month.

There are three screenings still to play in Halifax. Each screening will start at 7:30pm and include two films. Admission is either by cash donation or food donation for Feed Nova Scotia.

Here's the lineup:

April 20:
We Live by the River
Héen Taak

April 27:
The 4th Revolution: Energy Autonomy
Himalaya Alert

May 4:
Queen of the Sun: What are the bees telling us?
Home for Hawksbill

Festival-goers will also get to see the ever-popular dinosaur exhibit, A T-Rex Named Sue.
