Temporary Urban Plaza

When: Wed., Oct. 29, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. 2014
Dalhousie Masters of Planning students will be piloting a temporary urban plaza on the corner of Queen and Morris Streets in downtown Halifax. Members of the public are invited to use the space and share their thoughts on the future of the area. Students participating in a Placemaking Practice and Theory class have been studying an underutilized right-hand turning land located on the corner of Queen and Morris Streets. To demonstrate the shared use of public space, the plaza will feature the use of parking spots for pedestrian activities.
