Remember Canadian track star Perdita Felicien? If not, maybe this will refresh your memory: Hurdle. Face. Sadly, the media has a long memory and every time her name is mentioned, it's in the context of that glorious fall, which also took out the Russian athlete, at the Athens games. Apparently the Russian runner was so upset, she got on a plane right away and no one has ever heard from her again. True-ish story.

Felicien was planning on making a comeback in Beijing, but had to cancel due to injury. So, being a trooper and a gracious athlete, she's joining the CBC track commentators. I think there might be a drinking game involved with how many times our national broadcaster uses the words: fall, tumble, trip, smack, disappointment, pain, humilating, tears, etc. You can get the picture...
