Re: “Stroller Swipers

prettykitty, this is obviously bothering you more that people are replying against your comments because now it seems to be that u are the only one responding. no one was looking for sympathy, i am pretty sure the bitch said nothing about feeling sorry for the lost stroller, it was about taking something that does not belong to you, no matter where it was left, it was not theirs to take. i could care less about the stroller , its the people out there that are so damn desparate to steal for their children, get a damn job or something, or stop having kids when u can clearly not afford it. I am pretty sure I did say in my first comment that I DID leave the stroller outside of my apt door, which i do know now not to do in the future, but regardless where it was, it was shouldnt have been taken. A grown adult stole from a 2 year old boy, what part of that is right in any way? You know, for someone that lives in the "worst, drug/crime, sleaziest" infested neighbourhood like myself, i can still afford to buy my child nice things, including a new stroller. Seems like you have more of a problem with this than I do!

Re: “Stroller Swipers

Okay.I'm the mother of the child whose stroller was stolen and i'd like to comment to each one of you who had something to say.
PrettyKitty:my bldg isnt a security bldg, the stroller was not inside my apt, nor had it been since the day it was bought. but, it was not sitting out on the side of the road on garbage day either. No, I'm not stupid, anyone who would walk in and just take something that is not rightfully theirs is the stupid one. Obviously the person who took it had a child of their own, which would also mean they get a child tax credit cheque the middle of every month. so maybe they should have taken that money and bought their own instead of taking from a 2 year old. I can more than afford another stroller, but I shouldnt have to.
StupidPhat: I am not crying at all actually. I might cry a little for the poor child whose parents had to steal to provide for them, pretty sad that the 400$ a month they get a month cannot afford them an 80$ stroller at walmart.maybe they need to stop having kids if they cant afford to take care of them. And you dont seem like the brightest crayon in the box either, especially when u feel the need to call a 2 year old stupid. Seems to me you have a lot of growing up to do.
TTFN: Lynnett Rd is actually not the sleaziest part of Spryfield. It's funny how you can quickly label a street or community
like that when you dont even live here. Not all of Spryfield is bad, every community has its bad and its good so u should really get your facts straight. I didnt grow up in Spryfield, actually outside city limits, but I would not be so quick to judge because for the people I have met from here its not as awful as everyone makes it out to be.
and to all the rest of the commenters, its nice to know there are other decent people out there who understand how disturbing it is to have to steal from a child.
